Comments:

The Rickenbacker 330 is part of the iconic "Capri" series of semi-acoustic guitars first introduced in 1958. Designed by German luthier Roger Rossmeisl, it quickly became a cornerstone of the Rickenbacker line, famous for its "jingle-jangle" sound that defined 1960s pop and 1980s alternative rock. Unlike many semi-hollow guitars, the 330’s body is carved from a solid piece of maple, with a flat maple back glued on, creating unique acoustic-like cavities that contribute to its signature chime. While early models had 21 frets, this 2015 Mapleglo model features the 24-fret fingerboard standard since 1970, as well as the famous "fifth knob" (blend control) introduced in the early 1960s, which allows players to balance the volume between the neck and bridge pickups.
