Advanced Writing Technology: Features Advanced Power Calibration (APC) for dynamic laser power adjustment during the burning process, improving error rates and reducing jitter.

Connections: Offers unbalanced phono analogue connections, coaxial S/PDIF in/out, and optical S/PDIF input for versatile connectivity options.

Rackmountable Design: Comes in a 2U case suitable for standalone use, with a supplied rackmounting kit for professional installations.

Infrared Remote Control: Includes an infrared remote for convenient access to programmed playback features and basic operations.

CD Text Support: Supports CD Text for enhanced metadata display on burned CDs.

Sample-Rate Conversion: Built-in sample-rate conversion facilitates digital recording from non-44.1kHz sources, such as MiniDisc.

Flexible Recording Modes: Four recording modes: Record Disk, Record Track, Record Manual, and Make CD, with automatic track indexing from both analogue and digital sources.

SCMS Compatibility: Strips SCMS at the input, allowing recording from any source, and automatically adds the SCMS bit to the burned CD.

User-Friendly Interface: Features a large display window, rotary encoder for track navigation and recording level adjustment, and ergonomically designed buttons with positive action.

Media Compatibility: Records on CD-R and CD-RW, with optimal performance recommended on media designed for single- or double-speed burning.
