This 2021 SG Standard is a classic solid-body electric guitar, built at Gibson's Nashville plant. It features a lightweight mahogany body paired with a rounded mahogany neck, a bound rosewood fingerboard with acrylic trapezoid inlays, and a distinctive 5-ply full-face black pickguard. Driven by versatile 490R and 490T humbucker pickups, it captures the iconic, punchy midrange and sustain that have made the SG a rock 'n' roll staple. The "Demo" engraving on the back of the headstock indicates this guitar was destined for artist demonstration / promotional purposes.
