HISTORY

The instrument is an original 1987 Pre-Historic '57 Gibson Les Paul Gold Top, and was one of Slash’s favoured Les Pauls. Used extensively for stage, touring, and recording performances, it carries various personal modifications and can be seen and heard on numerous iconic tracks. This includes his now-legendary 2023 “Sweet Child O’ Mine” guitar solo, widely regarded as:
