This 1981 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe is a mahogany-bodied electric guitar with a three-piece maple neck and a rosewood fingerboard, featuring a carved maple top and two original Gibson "Patent Number" mini-humbucker pickups. Key features include a "Made in USA" carving and a volute on the headstock, a Tune-o-matic bridge, stopbar tailpiece, and a slim "C" profile neck. It represents a transitional period in Gibson's history and provides a distinct, sharper tone from the mini-humbuckers, setting it apart from traditional Les Pauls.
