Comments:

Introduced in 1959, the ES-345 was designed as an "upscale" version of the ES-335, sitting between it and the top-tier ES-355. It was Gibson's first model to feature stereo wiring and the Varitone rotary switch as standard equipment. By 1967, the ES-345 had undergone several key changes from its 1950s origins. The most notable were the transition from a stopbar to a trapeze tailpiece (starting in late 1965) and a shift to a narrower "skinny" neck profile with a 1 9/16" nut width. The model is famously associated with blues legend Freddie King, who frequently played a Sunburst model. It also gained pop-culture immortality as the guitar (a 1961 model) played by Marty McFly in Back to the Future. This guitar is in great condition for its age, still wired in Stereo and featuring all its original parts! A true collector’s item.
