HISTORY
Noel Gallagher is regarded as one of Britain's most influential songwriters and guitarists of the modern era. As the chief songwriter and lead guitarist of Oasis, Gallagher helped define the sound of British rock throughout the 1990s, with albums such as Definitely Maybe, (What's the Story) Morning Glory? and Be Here Now becoming landmarks of British music. His songwriting and unmistakable guitar style have inspired generations of musicians, while his long association with the Gibson ES-355 has made the model one of the most recognisable guitars of the Britpop movement.

Gallagher purchased his original 1960 Gibson ES-355 in 1997, initially intending to keep it as a collector's piece before eventually making it one of his primary stage guitars throughout the 2000s and beyond. The Gibson Custom Shop worked closely with Noel to faithfully recreate every detail of this iconic instrument, resulting in one of the most desirable artist models Gibson has ever produced.
