Fylde Guitars is an English manufacturer of handmade, fretted musical instruments, including acoustic guitars, classical guitars, and other folk instruments. Founded by Roger Bucknall in 1973, the workshop moved from The Fylde to Penrith, Cumbria, in 1996 and remains under his personal control. Fylde is known for its custom-built, high-quality acoustic instruments and is used by many professional musicians.
This 8800 Custom is a true one-off — part of a unique pair, alongside a sister steel-string version made from matching woods (which we are also offering for sale). These guitars are exceptionally rare and reflect the highest level of British luthiery.
