This 1979 Fender Stratocaster is a classic solid-body electric guitar featuring an ash body, a maple neck and a maple fretboard, and three single-coil pickups. Key characteristics for the standard models include a 21-fret neck, a 25.5-inch scale length, and a vintage tremolo bridge. The 1979 models are known for having a large CBS-era headstock and a factory 5-way pickup selector switch, which was standard for the late 70s.
