This 1977 non-trem Fender Stratocaster (serial S778469) is a classic vintage piece, representative of Fender’s CBS era. Crafted at Fender's Fullerton, California factory, it features the iconic oversized headstock, "bullet" truss rod, and the innovative 3-bolt neck plate with a Micro-Tilt adjustment mechanism. The highly grained natural ash body and tortoiseshell pickguard give it a unique look, making it stand out from Standard 70s Strats. Hardtail / non-trem models like this one are known for having several tonal benefits, notably longer / more robust sustain, and a thicker and tighter sound off the bridge pickup.
