HISTORY

The instrument was custom made for Robben Ford by one of the world's most critically acclaimed Bespoke luthiers the late Taku Sakasta in his workshops in California, featuring a Twin Feather Abalone inlay to headstock, the guitar carries many unique design features which was combination of many of Ford's most favoured instruments

Twin Feathers

Twin Feathers is the inlay found on one of the finest instruments built by Sakasta. Given that Taku's total lifetime production was quite small—some models like the "Jam Master" or the "Noupaul" had runs as low as 2 to 3 units—guitars carrying specific thematic embellishments like the "Twin Feathers" inlay are considered pinnacle works of contemporary acoustic and jazz luthiery
