The Martin D-18 Dreadnought Centennial is a limited-edition version of Martin's legendary D-18, produced in 2016 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the dreadnought guitar. The D-18 has long been regarded as one of Martin's benchmark models, prized for its clear, balanced voice, strong projection and powerful midrange. The dreadnought body delivers impressive volume and bass response while maintaining excellent note definition, making it equally at home with flatpicking, bluegrass, singer-songwriter accompaniment and fingerstyle playing. The Centennial edition builds upon this heritage with commemorative detailing while remaining unmistakably a D-18 in both sound and feel.
