We are happy to offer for sale this rare 70s Epiphone semi-hollow guitar. Details as follows:
- Year: 1970
- Country of origin: Japan
- Serial number: 0121198
- Body Style: Double-cutaway, thinline semi-hollow body
- Neck Joint: Bolt-on neck fastened with a 3-bolt neck plate
- Fingerboard: Bound Rosewood featuring 21 frets and pearloid block inlays
- Scale Length: 25.5-inch scale
- Pickups: two doublecoil pickups with black plastic covers and "staple" poles alongside screw poles
- Controls: 2 Volume knobs, 2 Tone knobs, and a 3-way toggle switch.
- Bridge: Floating Tune-O-Matic style bridge resting on a rosewood base
- Tailpiece: Bigsby-style vibrato tremolo unit with a carved wood-grain insert block (arm missing)
- Hardware Finish: Chrome
- Factory Finish: Redburst

In 1970, Gibson (Epiphone's parent company) ceased all US-based production for Epiphone and moved manufacturing overseas. This model belongs to the very first wave of Japanese-made Epiphones. The guitar was built by the revered Matsumoku factory in Japan. This model was later rebranded as the Epiphone EA-250 Riviera.
